To help my patients in their journey to health and wellbeing Neone decided to study Naturopathic Nutrition. Naturopathic medicine addresses the causes of disease and imbalance rather than just the symptoms. The whole person’s body systems are then supported to achieve optimal health and wellbeing, help prevent chronic disease and maintain this balance themselves. To find out more about naturopathic nutrition check out the WHAT WE DO SECTION.
What we do – Nutrition
Naturopathic Nutrition promotes the use of whole and organic (where possible) foods as medicine. As a society, we are becoming increasingly aware that a lifestyle of chemical-free foods, supportive supplement and regular exercise, along with other dietary measures, all contribute to the management and healing of many health complaints and common conditions. We believe that naturopathic nutrition is an art, science and philosophy. So, this lifestyle change could be just the ticket for you if you’ve been battling with food related intolerances, certain health complaints and other common conditions.
At Pea Green Physio, Nutritional Therapy involves a thorough individual assessment of the persons case history and dietary details. This is then studied and researched to identify any nutrient deficiencies or imbalances and provide the patient with a realistic, achievable plan that is discussed and worked through one to one.
Nutritional Therapy provides evidence-based support for you to take control and support your mental and physical health and peak performance in today’s busy, hectic balance of work, lifestyle and family commitments.
The initial assessment will take one hour of concentrated case history taking. We will then research and correlate all this information to create a personalised achievable plan for you. Our second meeting will be for a follow up appointment to discuss and work through the plan. Each client is different so, it may be that a course of follow up sessions are required.
